a friend's mom is looking for someone to speak at her school on Long Island, NY, on veterans day. It's a girls only Jewish Orthodox school, and she was hoping to find someone to share their experiences serving in the military. If you might know a vet or two living up there now, Please let me know.

I am so sad that I didn't see this! I work at APG; I am Jewish and female and would have absolutely been willing to try to figure out how to get there. If not, I have two Jewish female friends on staff at West Point. Please hang on to my name and message me next time. I want to help!

You work at APG? this is funny. I am at Ft Meade, if you ever come down this way, drop in for a cup of coffee.
I wish I could have done this myself, I do presentations very well.

The offer is the same if you find yourself at APG. I am MI and my buddies are MI and and JAG so good speakers all around.

I did this quite a few times when I was stationed in DC in the 90s, and again at Riley in early 2000s, it was fun and interesting, especially all the questions from the kids, but I felt so proud of my son at his school in Riley as he told everyone that his dad had sacrificed more than any person he had ever met, I didn't even realize that he understood what I actually did as he was only 7 at the time, but he really surprised me and made me feel special that day.
