CW4 Angel C. - Thanks... I don't have a problem taking jokes from Senior NCOs or anyone for that matter, more so if I know them or work with them on a regular basis. It's not customary to challenge someone's level of expertise at their job in an initial encounter though. It is what it is, water under the bridge now. Drink water and drive on.
Thanks for the pointer. I'm strongly considering a Sprint Mi-Fi, depending on which carrier (if any) allows a pre-paid style of service, where I won't have to have a contract and pay for 2 years just to have it for 3 weeks.

MAJ (Join to see) - Your S6 shop at the Brigade level might also have AT&T 3G/4G HotSpots that you can sign out, I know ours does.

SGM (Join to see) - They do have some but I think they have plans for using them already. They mentioned having them when we received our OPORD but they only have a couple and they go fast.

Historically, Verizon has had the best service while AT&T is sorely lacking.
Unfortunately, I do not know anything about US Cellular. I was posting in case it has similar coverage to one of those companies.
I currently carry republic wireless and it has been excellent.
