Please contact Retirement Services at HRC Fort Knox. Google and contact them. If it is VA you can go to VA web site and follow procedures after establishing a userid and password . Got it?

Actually, look up your County's or District's VA Representative. He/She will set this all up for you. You will need a copy of your Medical Records - the County VA Rep will sit down with you and look at few years of your records. He/She will also fill out a form to help determine any possible disability to be reviewed by the VA in your State. Once this is done, give them a few weeks, the VA will contact you for an appointment so they can conduct a physical. For me, the County VA Rep listed 7 items for disability review, I got 2 with 10% each, and 0% for the other 2 - for a total of 20%. I'm in the process of going back for a re-evaluation. Hope this helps.

How long have you been retired? If less than 3 years, and your VA Rating is 70% or Higher then you can file a DD Form 149 [login to see] )

My rating is 80% service connection by the VA. My unit has a few of the LOD's but did not do a lot of them and follow through.

SSgt Howard you the only one seem to have knowledge of a Retired Reserves filing for Medical Board Retirement. Everyone else talking around detail how to take the step in the process and actually how to initiate this process. Could you give me some detail guidance how to get smart on the Medical Board Process for Retired Reserves.
