I don't think it's been "replaced" cuz they still teach you how to run it in school, there are just other sprayers available that are smaller that's probably being preferred.

SGT(P) (Join to see) m17 and m26 both have blivets. The 17 doesn't have a heater. The 26 is similar to an m12 and heater combined into one system. Only downside is it pushes less water than an m12. M17 is a little simpler than a 26 also.

Both can also be supplied with TPU's placed on MTV's.
