I have heard for years that if a Soldier would take a pay cut by transitioning over to be a Warrant Officer that they would continue to receive the higher pay. Is this true? Can someone provide me a reference? Or is this all just one of CSM Maynard's "Myths"?

I sure hope it's true!! Isn't your pay supposed to freeze at where it is if it's more than what a WO1 makes? If not, I guess I really will need a job when we go back LOL!
