It seems here lately that all I have been doing is alienating my connections by asking stupid questions, or making ignorant comments. I would really like to apologize to all of you for my recent comments. I make no excuses for my words, but I ask forgiveness from those I have irritated. Have a great day.

I am sure we all say things on here that goes against what others believe. The trick is to have thick skin and realize that just because an opinion is different from your own, dies not mean that the opinion is bad. You have your own way of dealing with issues and if you tried to do the things that everyone else thinks you should be doing, then you would not be you! Stay strong, drive on, and let the haters deal with their own bitterness.

Charles, the beauty of where we live and the nation we have served is we have the right to say what is on our mind without fear of retalliation. Or at least that is how it used to be. Now the speech police and the thought police are redefining our right, which we have all fought to preserve, to say what we want because someone might get their feelings hurt. This has a name, it is called cultural marxism and it is bullshit. I have a thick skin and do not get offended when someone calls me out on somthing I have written or said. However, I have found that many of those same people call me out because they do not have a thick skin and are easily offended. My view is if what I says offends them, then something I have said is accurate and they cannot deal with it. I am very opinionated about this nation and the values that have made it the greatest republic in the history of the world. I now see a political and cultural attack on those values and I will not sit back and watch the tearing down of this nation without opening my trap and speaking out. If it offends someone, they need to get over it, period. Because I don't care. I will do whatever I can to protect this great nation so my grandchildren can experience freedom, not this communist crap being thrown at us today. So you keep on saying what is on your mind. I have your back, even if I disagree, which I do not see happening.

Hey, we all need that kick once in a while to get us out of a rut we are in. You see me needing one, let me know and I will assume the position. We have to have each other's backs because this society talks the talk, but when it comes down to giving those who have sacrificed help, they get left on a waiting list so some VA administrator's numbers will look good and then they die. All we have is each other.

Sometimes, people need to grow up...
Stand behind what you believe, even if it isn't popular.
Also, you need to understand, that even IF your belief isn't popular, it is YOUR belief.
So, that being said here's the thing about beliefs: They CAN be changed. If your beliefs are based on ignorance or lack of education, get educated, update your beliefs, and you'll be fine.
If your beliefs are based on fact, or even on opinion, but not misinformed opinion, to hell with what anyone else thinks. Stick by them. Be prepared to support your beliefs if that is the case. No one can argue with sound logic. If your logic is flawed, listen to what people are saying, but DO NOT take their word for it - go and do the research based on what they are saying and figure it out. If you're wrong, post that, but don't apologize unless you actually offended someone - in that case, apologize to them publicly or privately (public gets you more "Apology points" so to speak with the offended individual, but private may be more appropriate in certain types of situations).
If people take a nasty tone, ignore them, unfriend them, explain your thoughts, and/or tell them to get bent, but don't apologize to them. They are the ones that need to grow up and they don't deserve an apology.
