Hi Ma'am,
Have you tried VRS? It can be found through the AF Portal (requires CAC access).

I see you are in Florida, if you message me, I can put you in touch with CENTCOM's J2 Program Manager. Unfortunately, we don't have any funding at SOCOM at the moment, but we do have IMA billets.

Hey thanks! Yes I do check VRS. I go through ArcNet to check it. I guess that's what I was referring to in my post. I will message you. Thanks again!

More in the DC area than anywhere else. Especially if you have a TS SCI with poly. What are you looking for...what specialty skills do you have?

You are welcome. If you're willing to branch out just a bit (to Command and Control), the opportunities increase, of course. I'm working Air Operations Center (AOC) requirements now, so that's what I know about in FL. 1 AF: http://www.1af.acc.af.mil/ and the 601 AOC: http://www.1af.acc.af.mil/units/601staoc/index.asp are at Tyndall AFB. The 601st is run every day primarily by the 101 AOG (at Tyndall) and the 286 AOG (Meridian MS). They may have some slots for 14Ns. Read their missions to get an idea what they do. There is also the 505th CCW: http://www.505ccw.acc.af.mil/ at Hurlburt, which does all the training and exercises for the AOC. There are reserve positions there as well. I know that's not a lot of help, but if you want to increase your chances of getting a job, you will need to expand your scope or be willing to move to another part of the country, or both. Best wishes to you!

Col Joseph Lenertz - Sir, thank you for this information. I would leave the job I have at Patrick if the right opportunity became available. If I'm simply moving from one reserve position to another and working one weekend a month then I'm not sure it's a good move. If I moved into a position where I'd gain valuable experience that could transfer into something more permanent that is a different story. Do you happen to know who I could contact to discuss the specific mission of Intel first hand or where to look for specific opportunities/POCs at these locations? I looked at the missions and the 601st AOC & 101st Air and Space OG mention SAR which is similar to the job I have at Patrick which strikes my interest. The mission of the 505th isn't familiar to me first hand but that's not to say I'm not interested in exploring it. Thank you again.
