I read the article. It doesn't specify if the officer administering an oath. Say a sworn statement. Is required to see the document or is it just enough to have someone there and swear but it's not the officers job to read what they are swearing to, correct?

Also a CW2 should be ok to do an oath right?

Sorry I'm on my iPad. Hope it's not hard to read.

If an officer also happens to be a civilian notary public, then they ARE authorized to administer oaths...under state law.
