I'm a Project Manager with a Commercial Construction firm. Ex-Army but I floated on a Navy boat for a couple years. I know some of you old SeaBee goats could be good Superintendents in the civilian world. The boss isn't hiring right now (slow time of year) but may be looking again in the New Year.

Maybe if you are looking check with the local Navy Reserves and see if they have a SeaBee unit. I know in the Army Reserve units I have heard of lots of Soldiers looking for good civilian jobs.

Thanks. I thought SeaBees first since I know they have construction experience that's very similar to Commercial Construction. Any former or Reserve Military with that kind of experience would be great. I just don't know off-hand what the equivalent would be for other services to what SeaBees do.

The Army Reserve has Engineering units as well. I know they have plumbers/pipe-fitters,electricians, carpentry and masonry specialists, heavy equipment operators. I am not sure what is around your area.
