How much of an impact does your 1059 have in centralized promotions?

I was an honor graduate in ALC and on the Commandant's list in SLC. I'm being looked for MSG. What kind of impact does it have on the board?

It is a significant document. Individual board members vary on what they emphasize, but honors and distinctions separate one candidate from another.
