Great topic Sgt Spencer Sikder! One belief they had in Iraq was that we had a "forcefield" around our vehicles in early Iraq which made us more combat effective.....we did not tell them anything different!

If someone has X-Ray Glasses I want some. I am a Techie and a Geek, Must Have. Now as a Sailor we did have a device (All Sailors are Firefighters first and foremost) that did allow you to look thru walls for hotspots I don't think it really looked thru them just gave you a visual of different temperatures of the Bulkhead and someone could confuse that for a X-Ray I guess.

Just remembered it was called NIFTI Navy Firefighters Thermal Imager. Gun Looking think with a trigger kinda like a bullhorn and a binocular scope on the side facing you.

I didn't serve on the Fire Team I was on the Security Alert Team so other than a training session or two didn't get to play with NIFTI much but I thought it was pretty cool.
