Thanksgiving is a basic tenet of Christianity. God's word reminds us to be thankful for the good and bad in our lives because we understand that he uses all things to mold us into teh image of Christ. He allows each of us to go though good and bad times to learn important lessons. Thanksgiving is much less commercialized than Easter and Christmas have become in this nation.
I hope that each of my believing friend are blessed with a wonderful and thankful Thanksgiving.

I became a believer in Christ in 1987 after almost 31 years of fighting Him. After the trajectory of my life was turned from death to life I have found it easier to be thankful. I would love to be more consistent in my thankfulness; but, I struggle at times to be thankful. I take each day one at atime and trust God that he knows whats best and He will lead me along the path of life. To God be the glory.

LTC Stephen F., You know where I stand. The reason Thanksgiving is less commercialized is because they are already having ads and sales for Christmas in October. It's ridiculous. Have a blessed and safe Thanksgiving while you're down there feeding the homeless. They are the blessed ones.
