What is your opinion? Should new soldiers wear multicam issued on a deployment if they haven't deployed? or wait until late OCP is issued?

As someone who was issued multicam when I deployed to Afghanistan, personally I don't care, but there are those who think since these soldiers did not deploy they shouldn't wear multicams, they should wait for the OCP issue in FY19

The uniform is approved, with all the myriad variations and it's going to be like that until 2019. Leaders who are nitpicking and forbidding things that Big Army has already approved clearly have too much time on their hands and not enough work.

Unless I'm mistaken we have right shoulder patches that show who we deployed with. Personally I try to look at all Soldiers as great Americans regardless of a patch or mulitcam. Happy Thanksgiving!

I whole heartedly agree with you but there are a lot of people who feel differently then you and I.

But this is silly. If following regs, then who cares who get butt hurt - they are wrong. Regs are regs. Simply and plain.

SGT (Join to see) - Regs over ride silly feelings, or as my Old drill Instructor would say drop and give me 50 or 100 until you feelings don't hurt any more; Old Army.
