Recieved these orders on my ERB about 2 months ago. I know its for Fort Hood but I'm curious as to what unit I will be apart of. Can anyone help?

Not that I am unwilling to help this Soldier or don't want him to ask questions, but what happened to going to your NCO for things like this?

He was unsure because it was not giving me an exact unit. Just the UIC for reception and some letters and numbers

PFC (Join to see) From my experience, as a junior enlisted I was always assigned to the replacement company and then from there they assigned me. As an NCO I either had pinpoint orders to a specific unit or to a brigade and from there they put me wherever they needed me the most. My point is that until you get promoted to SGT, you will probably see some type of reception company

Right now that is showing You reporting to the 3rd Cav Regiment Replacement. Upon reporting there you will receive orders to the unit you will permanently report to.

a confirmation search of UIC WAY8AB gives the information of 3rd Cav Replacement in Fort Hood.

IN does mean infantry but it's the brigade that's infantry. Doesn't necessarily mean you're going to be assigned to an IN BN robe used as IN

3CR is an Infantry Stryker Brigade. It is just under a Cavalry lineage and honors. It is set up like a standard Stryker Brigade.

Evan I think it is the Replacement Section but not sure. If you are planning to purchase a home there, let me know I know an awesome prior military Realtor that services the area. Mahalo, Pamela
