France's Muslim population is 7.5% of the general population, and ranks highest by percentage. However, most did not integrate with the French population, instead, they took over towns and a city. (does this sound like imperialism?) Their territory and ideology are the Center of Gravities for them. (true strengths) We should not make the mistake France did.
We facilitated the conditions leading to the creation of a refugee exodus. If we let hundreds of thousands of Syrians to immigrate to the US, we will be welcoming people who hate us.

The current political environment will allow this. All we can really do is wait I think. The warnings have been sounded time and time again with several events around the world supporting this concern, but until it happens on our soil, American citizens are generally not concerned or recognize the threat. It's still too distant, and the population is just plain disconnected while caught up in media hype about transexuals and the color of a cup. I feel assured though that when it does happen on American soil though, the gloves are coming off. Provided around this time next year the political environment changes.
