Ken Taylor the Canadian Ambassador who inspired the movie Argo has passed away. We're fortunate to have people like him on our side. Ken Taylor provided refuge to six American diplomats during the seizure of the U.S. embassy in Tehran. He helped to ensure that these men and women came back to the United States. Please take a moment to reflect on that.

One of my best friends back in 1981, was an Iranian whose father worked for the Shah of Iran. We told everyone he was from Turkey because of the Iran hostage situation. The world hated Iran. But I was in the 9th grade, so politics did matter to me then. He and his family were good people.
