I loved to play outside. But I was a city kid. So long as i came in before the street lights came on I was okay and didn't get my butt whooped. LOL I grew up in Seattle and we walked everywhere. That's not really a comparison to the country boy lifestyle though lol

When I was a kid, I was always outside playing, if this counts. Always lived in the city so I never had the opportunity of visiting nature, as it were, other than the concrete jungles I lived in.

My Dad was a logger so weekends and summers I got to ride around NW Montana in a logging truck or pickup. We always saw all kinds of animals. Porcupines, eagles, deer and elk, bear, and the occasional moose. Combined with the scenery, the smells and sounds, it was a pretty good way to grow up.
