If you have an issue or question about your medical care I would suggest you contact the patient advocate at your clinic.

Your kidding right. Well my glasses are not Rose colored and the VA provides terrible service. May you better stop takin all the meds they are giving you. The patient advocate is who for the last 4 weeks has assured me it will be here any dy. Bunch of used oats.

Unfortunately some patient reps, not all, have gotten jaded by the shear number of complaints. But also jaded by the inaction by the provider/dept or the inability of the provider/dept to do the right thing. I know some very good reps. One in particular was so full of sxxt, he really got things done. I always enjoyed the line of BS he would put out. He always got it done though.

I would say it's all depends, so far the one that I'm going to in Brooklyn NY is quite good and Camp Hill VA clinic, Lebanon PA VA were fine.

I drive over an hour to be seen at Lebanon. I live 5 minutes from Coatesville, and work at Perry Point. I love the VA at Lebanon. I have thought of transferring to Perry Point, but that location is apart of Maryland Health Care System so for many of the services I would need I would have to go to Baltimore... No thank you! :)

In Frederick there is the Fort Detrick CBOC that is part of the Martinsburg VAMC. Martinsburg is a small hospital, but it is a good hospital. But anything that is of complexity, will be sent to a larger VA (Baltimore usually- since its same VISN 5) or to a civilian doctor. Fort Detrick CBOC is a large one. They offer a majority of the services a Medical Center does... Hope that helps! http://www.martinsburg.va.gov/locations/ftDetrick.asp
