Recently Senior Pentagon officials told congress that troops
understand the need for pay cuts to Congress.
This was followed up by the senior enlisted leader of the Marines
touting less pay equals better discipline.
What are your thoughts on the reduction of pay and benefits and do you
feel it will help the morale and discipline of our forces?

I think they should have asked me before they spoke for me. Cause I would have told they to see the Shrink! We are over worked, underpaid and not appreciated.

I say no change because it won't change the direction we are going. Lower and lower. As most have pointed out there are so many other places that can lose funding. I ask them this, we have the wars dwindling down, money saver there. We are reducing the force, money saver there. So why does pay have to be affected or some of the benefits? Seems very shortsighted to what really needs to stop, and that is spending money on things that don't help this great nation!
