What is the future for football when high schools shutter their programs?

Not sure how to respond to this... Killing football programs at the high school level will eventually effect professional play... but then again, are the injuries and lives lost during high school worth it? Hmmm... When it's your kid, it's a lot to think about... I played, as did both of my boys... So what has really changed so significantly since then that this is now a major issue with cause of active disbandment?

Who would've thought...lol. I have noticed a few in the region that have pulled back the level of aggression in playing the game. I can understand with injury and all but....
