Best parts of holding this position

EHS transcends virtually every aspect of an organization (i.e., no one wants to get -injured or have their employees get hurt and who wants to trash Mother Nature).

In short, one gets to see/learn/interact within an entity or company from top to bottom. Sideways and every other way too!

Can be a 24/7 position (i.e., on call after a rewarding but full day, weekends and holidays notwithstanding)

Hone your people skills - virtually everyone has an opinion (sic) on the matter.
