Some of you may know that there is a Volcano erupting in Iceland which has been dormant for 6,000 plus years... This Volcano is named "Geldingadalir volcano", Iceland... THere are several videos of this, but this particular video is one of the best as it was captured close up and shows the molten Magma slithering like a river down its embankment... At any time, this whole mountainous region could blow its top completely as has been done by other volcanoes located in Iceland...
This is best watched IN FULL SCREEN WITH SOUND MODERATE FOR THE BEST VIEWS. THE LARGER THE SCREEN THE BETTER...
I hope you enjoy this real time hemorrhaging from a once dormant volcanic mountain...
Kerry

Indeed, Marty... That lava could cook a person in about 10-seconds! Temperatures of lavas are in the range 700 °C to 1300 °C (or 1300 °F to 2400 °F), but very rare carbonatite magmas may be as cool as 490 °C, and komatiite magmas may have been as hot as 1600 °C
