What are the possibilities of re-entry with an RE-3 code (anxiety waiver)?

Hello my name is Moises and about 6 months ago I was released from the Navy for Anxiety. I didn’t complete boot camp and it was my very first incident with anxiety ever in my life. I had called a few months back to an Air Force recruiting station and all they told me was to wait for my 6 months to be up to be able to talk. I got an Re3 code which gives me the possibility to be able to re enlist with a waiver only. I just wanted to know what are the actual possibilities of being able to join as active or reserve and what should I do before contacting the recruiting station again? Again it was my very first incident of anxiety the doctor there at boot told me it was probably caused by being deprecated from my family for too long but I’m fact it had to do with the fact that I couldn’t float. Please help thank you!

Wait the 6 months. Beyond that don't limit yourself to one service. If being in the military is something that you want to do, the branch shouldn't really matter because they all have pretty much the same opportunities with a few exceptions.

Anxiety isn't something that just goes away. So you have to ask yourself if it is realistic that you can make it through. Don't tell me, just think about it for yourself. If you feel that it is under control, then try again. I would suggest attempting to see if swimming would cause it outside of the military. If it happens again, then you may wish to reconsider. It is nothing to be ashamed of. Sometimes our body does some strange things. Either way best of luck to you.
