What regulation covers Army couples who are married saying they cannot be in the same section?

No specific regulations, but several guidelines. A lot depends on their ranks, You NEVER but them in a position where 1 is in charge of the other, you move the senior to a different Plt/Co. There can be NO basis for any charge /thought of favoritism- that would be an UCMJ offense.

They are both mechanics and 1SG is planning on having them in the same platoon and the same section. The two SMs already have plans to get married. Once they are married (both junior enlisted) 1SG is claiming they can remain in the same section and the same platoon. I keep telling my Soldier not to get his Hope's up

SSG (Join to see) It is possible; however, it is up to the command team. Even if the CO CDR was okay with it, the BN CDR may not be.

It’s the command call. If one isn’t in charge of the other they’re really isn’t a problem. SSG (Join to see)

SSG (Join to see) That happens everyday. I will say if it becomes an issue, one will be reassigned.
