I lift the individuals and organizations focused on protecting people including EMT, police, firefighters, emergency room personnel, medical triage team members, investigators, deployed military personnel and their family members to YOU. I pray that each get sufficient rest and appropriate and sufficient nutrients to be alert and observant while on duty and/or keeping up the home front. ‘that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,’ [Ephesians 16-17 ESV]
I pray for the individuals, families, businesses, and towns linked to the traditional energy industry drilling, distribution, storage and refining at risk of being terminated from employment, evicted and/or forced to file for bankruptcy protection. I pray LORD that YOU give them eyes to see and ears to hear from YOU, what they should do in this challenging times. ‘Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.' [James 1:2-4 ESV]
I pray for parents and guardians of the very young children. I pray they are alert and observant of the children they are responsible for. I pray LORD that YOU guide them hour-by-hour to reduce risk of injury and illness for themselves and the little children. ‘Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
