On September 14, born on this day, American musician, Ed King. He was a guitarist for the psychedelic rock band Strawberry Alarm Clock and guitarist and bassist for the Southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd from 1972 to 1975 and again from 1987 to 1996. King died in his Nashville, Tennessee, home on 22 August 2018 at 68 years of age."

Not sure how to take that, John. I don't consider myself hard core, but being from Wisconsin is kinda hard to ignore....my accent gives me away as much as any guy from Alabama would with his accent. Since I have lived in Arizona most of my life, that doesn't really count as "Southern", and watching a video or my preaching tells me my accent is still stronger than I ever knew I had.
