What do I need to ensure is done prior to leaving? Will they move my vehicle from the location on my household goods? How could I contact Transportation to get more information?

You are going to attend what is known as a LEVY brief which will tell you everything you need to know. You can also reach out to your NCO's who can provide you with all the information you need.

Because of COVID-19, one of our Drill sergeants gave the LEVY brief, and it was extremely uninformative.

SPC (Join to see) - Then you need to them you need help. You are coming out of Huachuca so you need to contact the soldier support center. They will ship 1 car from your home of record. But your parents will likely have to transport to the nearest vehicle processing center.

If you google transportation office and your local base.. their number will pop up.. I.e “fort hood transportation office”
And you will have to drive your car to the closest port to where your located. There’s only a handful in the US your authorized to drop off.. FL, TX and Maryland to name a few.
Once they give you the number of where you need to drop your car off, you will have to contact them for scheduling and requirements.
Good luck

I’ve never heard of a car being shipped from home of record, again.. I recommend speaking to the transportation office for clarification
