To begin with, it's an editorial. Maybe in the strictest clinical definition of Schizophrenia does it fit. I smoked a lot as a teen and into my early 20's. After Uncle Sugar broke me of the habit I was able to look back and see some really bad decisions, but I'm just not "feeling" this bit of writing, as there are still a lot of people that were raised on "Marijuana Bad". I pretty much don't like anything that F's with my cognitive abilities and functions, but that's my choice. Not someone else's decision to make for me. I also find it tiresome trying to communicate with someone drunk or high. For Me it's a nogo, for You it's whatever you decide.

Sounds like it was written the last night a paper was due. No significant content, no site for sources.

We do not yet understand the pathogenesis of this clinical syndrome. We do know the high levels of THC can produce delusions of paranoia. Most who smoke MJ perceive it as safe.
And keep in mind that by far the most common clinical presentation is poly-sub abuse.
Nicotine and alcohol remain the substances related to premature morbidity and mortality.
