It's beyond my comprehension that any patriotic law abiding voter would vote for someone with a 25 year history of demeaning the military, along with her perverted husband. Corruption and willful disregard for information about national security. Politics over anything seems to be the hallmark of the left. There is nothing to compare with Trump, who's major defect is hyperbole.

MAJ Carl Ballinger - The important thing is not so much what they say, but what they will, in all probability, do. Most believe more of the same, with Clinton and her family. That is good for some, anathema to others. This is no different from past elections. There are no Washingtons or Reagans to choose from.

HRC is a selfish power hungry greedy liar! Donald is an outspoken NYer that believes in the American values. Just hoping he selects a great VP..hoping for a retired military member or Condelessa

MAJ (Verify To See) - you should care, the laws of men apply and the president elected in 2016 will appoint between two and four justices to the Supreme Court and they will steer the laws of this nation for some 25 years. He has a plan, pray intently and listen for His guidance

I didn't like Trump...at first. I preferred Dr. Carson, Rand Paul, and Huckabee. Then Carson drops out and join the Trump team. Hmm. So, now I have to wonder why.
There are a few thing I had to consider:
1. Trump is tough as nails. One heck of a negociator.
2. You can tell a lot about somebody by their kids. The Trump kids are likable. His employees and his ex-employees have nothing but praise for him. Even his ex-wives have nothing bad to say about him.
3. Trump is brutally honest as opposed to being politically correct.
4. He is criticized for declaring bankruptcy, however highly successful people have had several failures before their successes. That is how they learned to be successful.
5. Trump is a nationalist and not a globalist.
6. Trump is a great communicator and persuader. He is a master at using the media to advance his narrative. He totally understands the media.
7. Trump is dumb like a fox and he is an open book. No secrets and not surprises.
8. Most politicians are motivated by money and/or power. Trump already has both. He has a history of being a patriot, from his military high school, to now. He has a huge ego, like every other candidate running. The difference is he is honest about his.
9. The establishment republican party hates him and has actually been actively trying to take down their own front runner. The establishment democrat party hates him because they know he stands in the way of a Hillary POTUS. Even the donor class hates him because he cannot be bought. I find this strangely appealing.
10. The regular people in this country seem to love him. These are the people who work their butts off every day without taking a handout.
11. Illegal immigrants, welfare recipients, leftists, professional demonstraters, anti-gun, anti-constitutionalist, rogue governments, etc. all love Hillary and rally against Trump.
I've been studying Hillary for the 25 years. She's actually a much better liar than Obama. With the exception of having a huge ego, she is the exact opposite of Trump. He was not my first choice, and he wasn't even my forth choice, but I'll take him over HRC in a NY second because HRC isn't even a choice.

PO2 Gerry Tandberg - Just a few theories, counter points and opinions:
1. Trump talks a big game, but thats 90% of who he is. And his negotiation skills are overblown, typically by him. A man who claims that he's never settled a lawsuit, has settled dozens. These negotiations he thinks he's going to have with trade partners will end brutally once his mouth gets him in trouble
2. His sons havent impressed me, they are carbon copies of their dad, and very self-aggrandizing. Also, as a very public figure with a lot to lose I imagine he has NDAs to cover his persona, so I don't put much stock in the fact that he's a 'good guy'
3. Brutally honest on a friend to friend level is a great thing to be, on a geo-political, its never played in anyone's favor. Being cognizant of ones words and body language is key in that scheme, both things he hasnt shown outside of telepromted speeches (which are usually pretty good and stay on point)
4. He is the self professed "King of Debt" and far less successful than he lets on. the Majority of his bankruptcies were Ch 11 restructurings which let him operate those business, while shedding debt, which led to creditors, employees and suppliers not being paid what their owed. while perfectly legal still seems highly dubious

1) All politicians talk big in public until they are 'read on' to the truth. I expect his approach to change one he has tacit knowledge of the potential gains/losses in the negotiations. Most of that work is done by the staffs anyway before any negotiations occur.
2) I don't care about Chelsea so I could care less about the Trump, Jrs....
3) Has his negotiations ever been in the open? Do we ever see the negotiations between our Presidents and other heads of state? (Nope, we see the press releases and sound bites) Our politicians always lie/posture/promise during the election cycle as no one can see the future and predict budgets, wars, etc. I think he knows that he cant call foreign heads of state names like he is in a playground but he knows that in a negotiation, someone is holding the Ace and it should be taken advantage of.
4) We as a country are in debt and no one seems to care so why bring that up? Bankruptcy is a business tool and since every keen business person would use every tool at their disposal, why is he so evil for it? The fact that he is where he is shows how successful he is just as the amount of money both Clintons bring in for 45 minute speeches show how successful they are.

TSgt (Join to see) - TSgt Rodriguez, please also give your analysis of HRC. Try to be objective and honest. Can you give me come comparisons between the Donald and HRC? This should be relatively easy as you have lots of information to work with on both. Again, I'm not a Trump fan. Donald and I likely would not find find ourselves as BF's because we are polar opposites on so many levels. However, I likely could have a civil conversation with Trump, but it is very unlikely HRC and I could ever share a moment. Sometimes we have to make choices while holding our nose. More often than not this has become routine when voting for POTUS for nearly all past election cycles (another topic of discussion). Yes, this sucks. Welcome to politics and politicians.
