That Doolittle mission was crazy. He thought he was going to get court-martialed for loosing all the aircraft however to the contrary he received the Medal of Honor and was promoted two ranks to brigadier general. Out of the 16, only one plane landed - Capt. York and his crew landed in Russia. The Hornet is a very important piece of history.
