Thanks for the Post Brother! It took me so long to finally have the VA recognize that I suffer from the effects of Agent Orange but they still have not given me a percentage rating yet. I am already at 100% rating for a variety of other conditions , all Service Connected from my time in Vietnam, but they say that the effects of Agent Orange are just starting. What a bunch of bull shit! I proved to the VA that I came back from Nam with Barrett's Syndrome which is pre-cancerous but until it actually turns into cancer, then they told me to re-apply. I also proved that I am on the verge of having diabetes type II and they again, told me to re-apply once I have diabetes. Finally, I have showed them that I have bad tremors of my hands and neuropathy in my feet and tips of my fingers, and again, they told me to re-file when it gets worse. I already had liver cancer and I am in remission for that but I guess that I have to wait until I'm dead before I can re-file for any other benefits from the effects of that damn Agent Orange, that freaking gift that keeps on giving. Oh ya, my VA rep said to me, "why rock the boat? You are already at 100% Total and Permanent." What an ass hole!

Great post SGT LaBranche I find it troubling that those of us that were exposed to Agent Orange have this ticking time bomb and the government does not have our back sorry state of affairs for sure
