The politicians listened to the wrong groups when they decided to stick their noses into women's health issues, and rewrite the rules of healthcare. This is not the will of the people.

Wait..... she had to have a legitimate and articulable threat to her life before she was allowed to end another? Who'da thunk it?

SFC Casey O'Mally - "The fever and chills were an indication of an infection and left untreated, sepsis is fatal, Gariepy (OB/GYN and assistant professor at Weill Cornell Medical College) told ABC News."

Your biased opinion indicates that you did not read the article. If you truly want to rebut something, actually read the argument. The woman's life was in danger due to the wait for two separate committees since Texas state policy placed politics over medical urgency.

LTC Eugene Chu I did read the article.

IF LEFT UNTREATED. Was it left untreated? Or, was she under constant care and monitoring?

She was not sent home and told to come back if it gets worse. She was admitted, treated, and monitored. Pregnancy, in and of itself, places the mother's life "in danger." A danger she not only welcomed, but actively sought treatment to court. So go away with your "in danger" BS.

This is not placing politics over medical urgency, it is placing the value of ALL human life over politics.

SFC Casey O'Mally - "Did she die? Nope." Wow. You are an epic..wow. She went into SEPSIS. "Sepsis is the body's extreme response to an infection. It is a life-threatening medical emergency. Sepsis happens when an infection you already have triggers a chain reaction throughout your body. Infections that lead to sepsis most often start in the lung, urinary tract, skin, or gastrointestinal tract." Not only was she dying but she had to wait for some COMMITTEE to APPROVE her medical care to save her life.

This was already traumatic for her being a wanted pregnancy that ended on its own. And then the only reason they didn't do anything is because of a law, written by people with NO MEDICAL BACKGROUND. The fetus was already dying and then died but they didn't want to save the mother because of a hearbeat? That man nearly lost his wife also for NO REASON.

People like you are the problem in this country. Not drag queens, not transgender people. Inconsiderate, soulless POS like you are the problem. Abortion IS HEALTHCARE whether you agree or not.

I can't even with you people. This is one of the most disgusting things I've read on here. People like you are sick, soulless disgusting individuals. Yeah I am heated on this one. It's f* gross.

SFC Kelly Fuerhoff We get to declare our opinion is fact and void the other pre-emptively? Awesome.

Abortion is murder whether you agree or not.

Wow, that was easy. Don't know why I haven't been debating like that all my life.

Yes, I am a ginger. But contrary to popular myth, that does not mean I am soulless.

Before ending one human life, the one choosing to end it had to be legitimately in danger of their own. That is a pretty standard principle.

There is absolutely no discussion of her almost dying. None. Except by people arguing emotion rather than fact. She was in hospital under constant care and supervision. Only one human life ended in this story. And the hospital went to the greatest lengths possible to avoid that tragic result.

You say I have no soul because I want to prevent human lives from being ended unless absolutely necessary? If "having a soul" according to you means cheering for ending even a single human life, let alone thousands of them, without a true necessity, then I will be happy to be in that club.

I do not believe ANYBODY is soulless. But I do believe some folks' souls are heavier than others. I am good with where mine is at.......

Read the actual article. The woman was married and her pregnancy went awry. Instead of getting abortion for maternal health, she was forced to wait due to Texas state policy.

Did you stroke out typing this? I'm super confused what your point is.

What's "kinning of children?"

"One sure thing I had hard as a make child by a girlfriend's mom..." Huh?

"Learn to keep your legs closed..." so married couples shouldn't have sex to have children? Like did you read the article at all? Oh wait that's obvious. You didn't. This was a wanted pregnancy that ended early on its own. The fetus died on its own. They needed an abortion to get it out.

"women was told men in the 70s that if you want to make anything of yourself keep your leggs closed." Again wtf did I just read? Also women didn't even get their own bank accounts in their names until the 1970s...so what the hell?

Literally nothing in your post makes any sense nor has anything to do with the article. Wtf?
