Guess we could look at the last eight years to see how it feels. Lois Lerner, Koskinen, Holder, Lynch, Comey....

Holder held in contempt. The House has voted to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress over his failure to turn over documents related to the Fast and Furious scandal, the first time Congress has taken such a dramatic move against a sitting Cabinet official.Jun 28, 2012

Good grief! Really? The most secret (least transparent) Administration in history just ended. It was rife with influence peddling and unconstitutional Executive Orders. (Please don't make me explain them. We've already beaten that subject to death) So, do I want more of that? Hell no. Now, what makes you think that the Trump Administration is nearly as secret as the Obama Administration?

CPT Jack Durish PO1 Chris V. President Obama never banned certain news outlets from briefings and new conferences. Trump has. Obama has never hidden who visits the White House. Trump is doing that now. Yes, he tried to keep certain documents from becoming public knowledge. What President hasn't. But he never, purposefully, kept certain news outlets away from press briefings. In fact, he would sometimes hold the briefings himself. Can't get much more transparent than that.

CPT Jack Durish - Just trying to come up with a suitable answer. See above. My negative comment was for someone else. I didn't think you question asked anyone to prove a negative, just thinking my answer through before giving it.

If they really there to serve the people, they wouldn't need such secrecy. Sounds like something a dictator would do.
