Good one CW4 Guy Butler ...! The Army Signal folks always have the LandWarNet 20_X and it talks a lot about "self-initiating" networks. I've never seen or heard of one of those before. Like the Army would just deploy somewhere & the network would just "poof" appear. Not really ever happened like that IMO. Back in my Artillery days, we just erected the OE-254 and could talk to Battalion or whomever we wanted to.

We completed our migration in September and I’ll be honest, it’s was bumpy at first but I really like this one. It works well. Sharing information is extremely easy. Finding people is extremely easy. You can log in anywhere, if you have a CAC reader, even your personal devices. They should be changing it again in 6-8 months. It makes too much sense.

It's not just the Army. Most corporate email migrations seem to be a sh!t show.
