My opinion on the idea?
How about NOOOO. We aren't communists or fascists who need to show off all the time in order to scare our adversaries; they already know. Not to mention, absolutely nobody in the United States armed forces want to waste time and money better spent on our training and readiness, and a demonstration like this would potentially cost millions.

Forcing the military to drag all their hardware to D.C. so POTUS can say, "look at me I have a bunch of stuff too." Is ridiculous.
Doing this instead of training and fighting belittles everything I was brought up and taught about our military.
The parades ending WWI and WWII we celebrations not my toys are bigger than yours!

Michael, I understand why the President said what he said, however, thats when one of the badasses on his staff needs to say, "we don't do parades".

Dumb idea. Military parades of this magnitude should be strictly for celebrating a war we've won. All this will do is use up the time and resources of our military personnel. No thank you.
