Seeing as there have been people who have climbed over the white house fence, most recently in 2015, and especially with todays polarized political climate, this is a sensible security measure.

This is what happens when your style of governing makes you afraid of the people you govern. There is a reason why no other president in recent memory felt like they needed something like this.

I wonder how much fear is influencing the decision making of the POTUS?

If these are real numbers: In all, the U.S.-Mexico border spans 1,954 miles. To cover a little over 200 of those miles with Trump’s much-touted structure has so far cost the administration $15 billion and garnered several legal challenges.

- Each mile costs $75 million. With 1,754 miles to go, it would cost an additional $132 billion to finish. That is a lot of mula.

MSG Joseph Cristofaro - Did you notice the amount of walls Obama built around the White House? Zero. Why? Because there were some greater principles at play.

The people who jumped the wall were quickly apprehended and it appears the POTUS and has family were never in any real danger. Trump doesn't have the same level of intestinal fortitude and certainly no respect for the principles of a free and open country.
