I don't like it either. What also bothers me is that former five-star generals and Secretary of State George C Marshall hated to Chiang Kai-shek. I read the book hazardous Duty on the biography of General singlaub. Major General singlaub was a OSS agent in China after 1945 and the Chinese Army was well-armed but was allowed to succumb to lack of ammunition and reinforcements while the Chinese Communist got all kinds of captured art summary and ammunition that the Russians turned over to them. He is still alive and I'm sure he does not like what's going on either. All I can say is that maybe it's just to kiss some ass for the next trade deal. Secretary of State George C Marshall was partly responsible for the birth of communist China.
