Good to know, I always thought it came from the 60's hippy movement, high on LSD.
Now they run San Francisco, or their grand children do. They even see pink elephants flying over head in those days.
With all that said, I do like them. Even if they spit on me and my uniform in Jan 1974 coming back from over seas at the San Francisco air terminal.
To each their own.
The A lay Rama - A lay Krishna guys and girls running up and down the sidewalks was a sight to see. When I first saw them, I thought they were having a Toga party. Lol
