When will it end?
If you even spent half a minute there and don’t have the wool pulled over your eyes, you know this is true. 2,400 lives lost, a handful of them my Brothers, 21,000 wounded, I know too many to be comfortable, including myself.
For what? What have we gained in 18 years? NOTHING. Nothing except a population of misunderstood Veterans killing themselves at a rate of 22 a day.
When will our government finally admit that we fucked up and just leave? How many more brothers and sisters do we have to lose before you admit defeat?

Nothing? We've given the CIA unprecedented access to opium crops, we've had decades of record profits for arms and munitions manufacturers, Contractor profits are through the roof! We've accomplished every actual goal we set out to do.

Leaving depends on the major objectives we want to accomplish. The most prominent objective is to create a democratic country and continued support in that endeavor, or we can redefine victory like what we did in Vietnam.

Seriously? "...and don't have the wool pulled over your eyes." Everyone knows Afghanistan is a cluster fuck. As was Iraq. I haven't met anyone who thinks we should still be in Afghanistan.
It's never as simple as just pack up and leave. Even in Iraq - we still have people there. It may not be a lot but we haven't fully ever left.
