As far as I know there is no universal standard for charging on electric vehicles, not enough thought is going into this with the auto industry. Also in my opinion we are just trading one dirty fuel for another.

We are most likely a decade way at best, but they keep trying to push us down the rabiit hole before the hole is dug.

If you buy an EV in the near future make sure that you keep a gasoline powered generator close by.
