Hard to believe the most transparent administration ever is "flouting the law". And, we've gone from 15,000 - 40, 000 Americans in country to less than 200 to perhaps several thousand to we don't track. #letsgobrandon!

Maybe they didn't have anything else to turn over. I heard it was down to 200 4 months ago in September. We do have 70,000 Afghans living on American military bases if anyone wants to help. There is also a refugee camp the size of a city. We made a deal to get every American out that wanted to leave, the Biden Administration can't be held responsible for not dragging them out. That's the way it is, if you want to believe any of the millions of rumors going around, so be it. You know as well as I do that, we are continuing operations in Afghanistan to track down terrorist, that information cannot be transparent.

CWO4 Terrence Clark - I've read it twice. The 70,000 I was touting, if you read what I wrote, were Afghans, not Americans, and it was from a different article about Afghans living on American military bases, it just seemed relevant to me.
Fox news rates the same as CNN in factual reporting - MIXED - which the raters define as being less than 50% factual. If you choose to believe FOX NEWS over our government, I can't say I blame you. I certainly did not believe anything Trump said, not after the fact checkers had him lying at 85% of the time.
There are different numbers floating around everywhere about how many Americans are left in Afghanistan. The article you just posted said that our government doesn't keep track of Americans traveling overseas. The 100 to 200 Americans the government was referring to in August were the number of Americans in Afghanistan that wanted to leave in August, and we have gotten out most all of them that wanted to leave.
