"The world breaks everyone, and afterwards, many are strong at the broken places." ~Ernest Hemingway
When we break a bone it heals. It usually heals in a way that makes it stronger than the surrounding area. So it is with our lives. We can use the experiences we go through to make us stronger, celebrate our survival. Or we can let those emotional/mental events break us and decline assistance in healing, we and those we love lose an opportunity for growth.

Alan K. - Oddly enough. The metal detectors seem to be better at recognizing surgical implants these days.
Either that or they are better able to detect concentrated quantities of metals as opposed to,just spiking on anything.
They don't even look twice anymore.
Maybe I look too old and feeble to be up to any mischief.

Lt Col Charlie Brown - Great quote from Ernest Hemingway - thanks for sharing. I like your analogy as well. Even though my wife had three vertebrae replces with metal and screws, she also grew back 75% of the bone through gene therapy. It's actually stronger than it was before. Individuals need to bounce back stronger after they experience tough times (even some of our veterans who've lost limbs, struggled with PTSD, or other disabilities are coming back stronger in mind, heart, and effort. Most of them will not let any type of set-back hold them back from achieving a goal, happiness, or getting better. Encourage everyone is my motto, no matter what! Have a great evening Charlie!

Good morning COL. For myself, keeping it together is not really an issue but I have certain protocols that come into play every day, Make a plan, readjust if necessary because you are flowing like a river to achieve your endgame. I kind of have it down to a science....Of course there are days....! I just rearrange my day for the least amount of stress and it may have to get done tomorrow. One of the reasons I work for myself...!
Have an excellent Wednesday my Friend and Say good Morning to the Family for me....
Be Good, Do Good....But you already do!

Thank you Andrew....As the poster child for ADHD (never ever any medication) I had to figure out a daily strategy that could work any way with few adjustments......I think I have it down, at least this is how I roll anyway...So there is that! Hope you had a good day. I'm beat!
