Walgreens turns to robots to fill prescriptions, as pharmacists take on more responsibilities

Fascinating article! The technology has been in place at the DMAFB pharmacy for some time now. Would like a follow-on article discussing how the technology is implemented at street level. Here, pharmacy techs in grocery stores (less Walmart) are represented by UFCW, who are resisting. State law has a one to one pharmacist to tech ratio and a one to three pharmacist to certified tech ratio. Certified techs are paid more, but the ratio differential pays for that. Who fills the robot? The technology is there. How will state, business and labor compromise?
