Ok. I don’t care if the barracks are temporary housing for training or used for long term quarters. No Marine, Sailor, or individual should ever walk into a building of such decrepit conditions. Not with the amount of money taxpayers spend annually on defense.

I really want a publicly disclosed audit to explain why each year Flag officers complain about lack of O&M money to sustain CONUS training and maintenance and why families and Servicemen deal with substandard conditions on so many active duty installations.

No Service member should be subjected to this. This is truly sad, where is the accountability, any leader who did not report, any leader with the ability to impact, and any leader who placed hands under other priorities should resign or be fired. That should have reach back as far as can be proven. A total embarrassment for the military as a hole.

Quick fix, have them relisted as officer quarters , I can't imagine what the HVAC is spreading through the air.
