U.S. Army Troops Participate in Mountaineering Training in Kosovo

Troops from the Kosovo Force Regional-Command East participate in a basic mountaineering skills training course Aug. 22, 2020, in the Sharr/Sar mountains of Kosovo. Attendees learned basic knot tying, rappelling, and field medicine, among other skills. As a member of Bravo 2/87 (8th ID at the time), we trained in the Alps, both cross country and downhill. It was one of the best training exercises I ever did!
