I am in full agreement with POTUS on this. It needs to happen.

People say why fan the flames? Honestly, it won't make a difference since no matter what, the Palestinians will continue to stab, bomb and shoot Israelis.

I also see people saying the Israelis do nothing but oppress the Palestinians. The Israelis allow Palestinians to use their hospitals at close to or almost no cost, they build housing for them, allow them to use their shops, and roam the streets. The goal of the surrounding countries and territories have always been obliteration of the Israeli state. This will hopefully force the UN to step up and help Israel since we will finally recognize Jerusalem.

That is where Israel has their government. It is their capital. Both Obama and Bush committed to doing this. Trump delivered. How does this help him? He did what our Congress and previous Presidents committed to do.

You might also want to look up the Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995. That law was passed by Congress to move the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. You simply are ill informed and react emotionally to anything Trump does. Read a little, it will not hurt you Nelson.

Bingo. They continue to kill innocent people every chance they get. This will be the newest outrage to them. Their reality is they need to negotiate a deal they can live with as the world is changing around them. Stomping their feet and killing civilians is not going to get it done.

So should we capitulate to anything they don't like? After all, they will always have some sort of excuse either way. Or should we act in a manner we would normally act for any country we are allied with. Israel defined their capital as Jerusalem, not Tel Aviv and we should respect that.

Ok, Let's say this is true for argument's sake... So what? What difference does it even make for an Evangelical Christian? It's not like the Christians get to take over Jerusalem. In fact, the Israeli Judaism faith still has control and nothing really is changing here. Why do the Evangelicals care that we move our embassy to the Israeli named capital of Israel? Sorry but I fail to see the need or purpose to criticize Trump here in this statement.
