Meanwhile, Trump was sitting in the comfort and safety of the WH, definitely not leading any fight and certainly not showing any courage.

PO1 Jeff Chandler If Trump wanted a peaceful protest, a) he wouldn't have said "fight like hell" and b) he would have told them to stop the violence. The fact that he didn't tell them to stop the violence is evidence that he wanted the violence. And, he also said that "fraud" gives you the green light to break the laws. Spin it how you wish. It's obvious that for you, everything starts with "Trump is right".

As a conservative myself and one who casted a ballot for President Trump I do understand how things could get misinterpreted. You would be naïve or have your head stuck in the sand to not realize the conservative right have fringe elements that would exactly take the Presidents words as a call to arms. I do not believe myself that the President wanted a take over of the Capital (my opinion) but that doesn’t mean someone else didn’t understand that to be exactly what was meant. I find folks so ingrained in their opinions that they don’t rationalize facts. It is one reason there is so much division within America. It is only when we open our eyes and ears to facts and not fabrications of facts or truth that we can learn. And yes I understand there have been those on the fringe left who have called out violence. But that doesn’t justify what happened, the Capital was ATTACKED. We need to quit the tit for tat BS. Violence is Violence, destruction is destruction and death is death regardless of the circumstance. Our way of life is being exploited and attacked from all fringes of the left and right.

MSgt (Join to see) - I think Trump was deliberately vague, yet quite pleased with how things turned out. Did he specifically tell them to invade the Capitol? No. Did he specifically want that? Not sure I can go that far either. Was he willing to risk them doing that through his being purposely vague, if it meant they stopped the electoral college count? I absolutely think that he was fine with taking that risk, as long as he had some plausible deniability ("What? Who, me? I didn't tell them to do that.").

Thanks for the share"
Nonsense! Evidence shows he watched the whole thing unfold.

SFC Stephen Hurst because that would be your bullsh*t whataboutism that is your only answer to anything Trump does, not to mention that you are simply wrong.
But you are too far gone to see that.

PO1 Jeff Chandler ...my kind? Would like to take your rights away? Who's kind gave us the Patriot Act? Who's kind fought against Net Neutrality?
I would love to stop calling you names, stop giving me reasons to.

PO1 Jeff Chandler I am done with you now, you already showed your hand when you refused to remain consistent with your own point about the Jan 6 insurrection. This is me playing with you, throwing your own crap back in your face. Feel free to continue, you give me plenty of ammo.
