The tenor of your post tells it all. I would ask if you prefer the pablum fed to you by the Democrats while telling you it is WAGU beef for decades. Would you like a phony accented, old white woman lying to you with promises while enriching herself and her cronies. What has Trump done to the blacks of America that makes him so detestible? Not what Hillary says during her fundraisers in Hollywood and the Hamptons.

I'm fairly sure I did a good job of explaining my position, and that is that I am against Trump's approach in this situation. I said nothing about being for Clinton or anyone else. Don't read more into what I said than what I *actually* said, please.

PVT James Strait - I get that. What I take issue with is, here he is trying to present this image of reaching out to black voters, but he's not going about it in the right way. Instead of inviting the general public to hear him directly, he holds these closed door meetings to basically say what *he* wants, then (presumably) let those he says it to distribute the message in a way they believe will be best received.

In my opinion, SGT Higginbotham hit the nail squarely on the head. Trump is not going to a public Q&A, but has forbidden the press from attending. Why? So that he can spin any and all comments in such as way as to benefit his campaign. BLUF: with no press, it does not count as "outreach". Why not simply go to a community center and have a town hall style meeting with press in attendance? Because he then won't be able to control the content of media spin to his benefit. Even if it is, and will most likely be, outright falsehoods.

Just the beginning. After the elections, the I told you so starts. Fodder for our RP grist mill. Love it!

MCPO Roger Collins - By all means, respond away so long as you can do so respectfully and in a manner that's productive to the discussion.

I agree a more open forum discussion by Trump is needed. Being cloistered behind closed doors with people who are not a full reflection of the group he is trying to communicate with is not the answer. The scripted exchanges are another matter altogether.
