As always, I look for full video footage of interviews and speeches, to verify the context of statements portrayed. I like to be able to debunk these sorts of things. . . Unfortunately, this clip was not cropped short of context...Although, I had to sift through quite a few Youtube videos to find one where the uploader had not cropped out that portion, which is sad, because preceding the fumble of forgetting his wife, was his praise of the Coast Guard and First Responder efforts in regards to disaster assistance. Of course it is a distraction from the other efforts going on, but there is no rule saying everyone can't laugh a little every now and again. Maybe it's an inside joke they play at this point? I see he is wearing a hat that says "45" on right side, seeming to fully embrace the insult of citizens who only refer to him by his Presidential number, as a way to disown him as President. Maybe they intentionally play into what their critics want, for some unknown reason.
If you are finding your political loyalty is not allowing you to view the forgetting of the presence of your spouse standing next to you as a somewhat humorous event, then you might not have a pulse. Imagine if ANY other person did the same in the military, the formation would be like "ooooo, someone's sleeping on the couch tonight!" or something else to that regard.
The article may have hit on some relevant points, while omitting information from others in order to fit the writer's agenda. Maybe i'm just not seeing the rest of it, but the article also seems to be cut off in mid thought.

Or it says 45 because he's the 45th President...and I honestly feel like she's going to divorce him once his term is over. Anytime she is with him the contempt in her face is just astounding.

SFC Kelly Fuerhoff - Sure, I'm only presenting possibilities, not absolutes. I don't putting trolling past anyone. I personally wouldn't rule out the possibility of the drama between POTUS and FLOTUS to be staged. Makes for good gossip and tabloids. . .

SFC (Join to see) - No - the hand slaps that she did to him multiple times were not fake. At all. The look on her face - that's not fake. That's the face of a woman who regrets her life decision of marrying for money. At inauguration - when he said something to make her quit smiling and look like a wounded puppy...that wasn't fake either.

I watched a video of him get off Airforce One and right past the Beast and heading away from where he needed to be.
Someone grabbed him and got him going in the right direction. He appeared extremely disoriented.
I would not disbelieve he has failing mental as well as a past history of other serious mental issues his fame and wealth has helped to blind the public to.
We need to be electing more people in their 40's and fifties and very few past their mid 60's.
It does not mean older people cannot or should not play a part in government.
Beyond a shadow of a doubt though the President should have a razor sharp mind and a certain charisma about him.

I saw someone post that maybe he meant that she really wanted to come with them - but because he has such a horrible grasp of the English language (worse than his wife) it came out this way. I wouldn't be surprised he didn't notice his wife but perhaps it was a gaffe yet again.
