The current debates were set up by the Commission on Presidential Debates. The years you speak of were general ran by the League of Women Voters. The CPD has taken over since the Perot scare, where the leadership of both the left and right made a decision to refuse access to anyone not them. It was a power play because they like the status quo of the left/right paradigm. They don't want anyone coming in and ruining their power.

This is the very reason Washington warned us of party/faction. Party eventually becomes more important than the people and the party will use/divide/incite the people to rest power from their opponents. Party and the political sub-class is the problems we facing today and the only way to fix it is to give the power back to the people as prescribed by the document we all swore to defend.

Nicely put... you forgot the part where the chairman of the CPD was a member of the Clinton administration...

A day late and a dollar short though. The prospect of that happening can be attributed to Trump as well. I can only speak for myself and I know there are others that agree, the system favors/rigs the two party system, it's nearly impossible to get the people's choice in the presidency. Looking at the republican cycle this election, choosing trump and seeing him pass the threshold is is something that can be taken to the bank. Where were all of the naysayers prior the election? When people that don't like trump say that they want change it is laughable, it's obvious that it isn't an easy task. Hopefully you'd be right and three candidates or more will be serious next go around. It is right now though that trump is the outsider.

CPT Jack Durish - I said what I meant, rest assured. I mentioned wordplay with Trump in the video using every excuse short of blaming Jesus for the things he's done. HRC means nothing to me. If you have read my posts, you'd know that before even going down this route. How is it that you and those who share his view are the ones saying he's right, but even his own party and running mate are saying he's wrong? Where is this giant voter fraud at right now. Not before, right now? Ballots are being sent in now. I don't care about Bush/Gore, or Obama/Romney. At this point both are history and case studies for the future to dissect. That;s it. Trump is making a controversy where there isn't one just yet.....TX is claiming some issues with mail in ballots, and acknowledging there is a "chance" it could lead/or be voter fraud and investigating it. So had HRC said the same thing, you'd be "in your bias against her" telling her to get over it , and she's whining over nothing. Now who's biased again? Damn sure isn't me. No emotional ties to any party or candidate over here. Can you say the same?

SSG Warren Swan - Did I say Trump was "right"? Sometimes, not "Right". Are "his" party and running mate wrong? Absolutely. The GOP is bankrupt. It's not my party any more than Trump is "my candidate". Where is this voter fraud? It's always been with us. Remember Watergate? (Yeah, probably not. I'm guessing that's history to you) It was just one example of a very clumsy attempt at voter fraud, one in which they were caught and the President impeached for lying about it. I've seen others. I've participated in four elections (one Presidential) and seen voter fraud and dirty tricks on both sides in every one of them. However, the Democrats have taken it to a new level in recent years. They're employing mafioso type tactics, looking for ways to maximize effect without being caught. Sadly for them, they've been caught bragging. As for your assertions that I am biased and what I might do, you are totally off the rails. You don't have a clue as to what I might do about anything.

CPT Jack Durish - "See, that's where your bias jumps all over any semblance of objectivity. You make up stuff, insane stuff, and then argue that it's insane. Why can't you simply say, "Folks, I'm biased. This is my opinion and nothing is going to change it." At least that would be honest"....so you can call me biased, and when it's turned to you, "I'm off the rails", "You don't have a clue as to what I might do about anything". Double standard much? Yes I do remember Watergate, you can't help but know something about it when you live less than an hour away from the actual building, and it was taught in History class every year from middle school on up. Doesn't make me a scholar, but after six years of the topic, I know something about it.

SSG Warren Swan - And yet you ask about voter fraud as though it doesn't exist?

I thought Wallace did an outstanding job; best of the three debates. He was equally hard on both candidates, asked them each questions about their problem areas and didn't tolerate either of them trying to deflect. He also controlled the audience well.
